Getting Becki ready for your business.

Becki.ai is a product of The Media Den. This notice explains how we use the information you provide while creating an account and preparing your business setup.

What we collect and why

We use your name, email address, business name and optional website to create your private workspace, confirm your email address and prepare your call setup. Your password is protected and is never included in your setup emails. We keep the business details and call preferences you save so you can return and complete them.

Your website

When you ask us to scan your business website, we read up to eight publicly accessible pages and prepare a business draft and save extracts and their source addresses in your workspace. Review the results and remove outdated, private or irrelevant information before approving the draft. You can enter the details yourself instead.

Emails and call preferences

We send the account emails needed to complete your signup. Signing up does not subscribe you to marketing emails. An optional setup-call preference is saved only if you choose it and provide your number. Automated setup calls are not available yet; saving a preference does not place a call.

Payments and activation

Creating a workspace does not take a payment or start a subscription. Checkout will show the package terms before you pay. When secure card setup is available, you can add a card after reviewing your setup. Saving a card does not take payment, start a subscription or start your trial. Card details are entered on the secure card setup page; we do not store your full card number or security code. You will review and accept the subscription terms when your service is ready, before your trial starts. Telephone service requires a separate activation step after your setup is reviewed.

Optional calendar connections

If an owner or administrator connects a calendar account, we save the connected account label, available calendar names and your selected calendars for that workspace. Connection credentials are encrypted. The connection check reads a small sample from the next seven days without saving appointment titles, descriptions or attendees. For Google Calendar, selected events are displayed to signed-in workspace members. If you approve booking access and select a writable calendar, Becki can check availability and create, reschedule and cancel appointments it created, through the diary or an activated telephone service. We retain those booking details, contact number, reference and change history in your workspace. Other calendar events are read for display and availability. Booking does not send invitations or customer confirmation messages. Outlook and iCloud currently provide read-access checks only. Disconnecting removes the saved connection and its credentials from the active workspace. Existing appointments and workspace booking records remain; private backups may retain an earlier copy until they expire. You can also revoke access in your calendar account settings.

Partner introductions

If you arrive through a partner link, we save a referral cookie for 14 days. It helps us credit the partner for your visit, demo enquiry, signup and payments. A later partner link may replace the cookie; direct visits do not. Once an enquiry or account is created, its referral remains with that record after the cookie expires. Our team uses this information to measure introductions and review commission estimates. We do not share your contact details with partners through this tracking.

Keeping and controlling your information

Verification links expire after one hour; expired signup requests are cleared when the next signup is processed. You can continue setup before confirming your email and request a new confirmation link from setup. Account details and saved drafts remain in your workspace so you can resume setup. Essential sign-in cookies keep your session secure. Contact info@themediaden.co.uk to ask about your information, request a copy, correct details or request account deletion.
